The Melior Group was proud to be a sponsor of the 2018 Women Against Multiple Sclerosis (WAMS) Luncheon, which was held on May 24, 2018. The event honored Mary Stengel Austen with the Woman of Spirit Award. Ms. Austen is the CEO and President of Tierney.
Many Melior employees were in attendance at the event, and heard Linda McAleer, serving as the event’s Founding Chair, help introduce Mary and speak about her professional and personal accomplishments, in additional to her inspiring efforts in giving back to the community.
The WAMS Luncheon is an empowering way for people to join together and support the more than 15,000 people in the Greater Delaware Valley area living with MS, as well as their families. It is also an opportunity for women to unite with other women in the movement to create a world free of MS. It is one of the National MS Society’s premier fundraising campaigns. This year’s event was held in the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia.
